How much does it cost to visit Everglades National Park in 2026?
A private vehicle pays $35 for 7 days, a motorcycle $30, and individuals on foot or bike $20 per person (kids 15 and under are free). Use the calculator above for your exact total.
Which Everglades pass is cheapest for my trip?
Visiting two or more national parks in a year? The $80 America the Beautiful pass usually wins. Returning to the Everglades only? The $70 Everglades Annual Pass. A single visit? Just pay $35 at the gate.
Are there fee-free days at Everglades National Park?
Yes — the National Park Service designates several fee-free days each year (in 2026 these include Presidents Day, Memorial Day, the Independence Day weekend, and Veterans Day, among others) when entrance fees are waived park-wide. The exact dates are set annually — check nps.gov/planyourvisit/fee-free-parks.htm for the current year's list.
Is there a discount for seniors, military, or 4th graders at Everglades?
Yes, on top of the passes above: U.S. seniors (62+) can get a lifetime America the Beautiful Senior Pass (a one-time fee, or a cheaper annual version) covering all federal recreation sites including the Everglades. Active-duty U.S. military members and dependents get a free annual pass. 4th-grade students (and homeschool equivalents) get a free annual pass for their whole vehicle through the Every Kid Outdoors program.
Is there a separate fee for boat tours or airboat rides in the Everglades?
Yes — airboat tours and most guided boat tours are run by private concessioners (many just outside the park in Everglades City or along the Tamiami Trail) and charge separately from the park entrance fee. The entrance fee only covers access to the park itself; ranger-led boat tours from Flamingo or the Gulf Coast Visitor Center also have their own separate fee.
Does the Everglades entrance fee cover Biscayne National Park too?
No — Biscayne National Park (east of Homestead) is a separate park with no entrance fee at all, though its boat tours and concession fees are separate. Everglades and America the Beautiful passes don't need to cover it since there's nothing to waive.
