Roby George Park packs a lot into a neighborhood green space. You've got baseball and softball fields, basketball courts, a playground, a pavilion with barbecue grills, restrooms, and a pool. For families spending a few days in Homestead before or after an Everglades trip, it's a genuinely useful place to let kids burn off some energy.
The pool is the headline amenity. It's free for Homestead residents, and there are lifeguards on duty. Hours run 4 to 9 PM, so plan accordingly and don't show up expecting to swim at noon. The bathrooms are large and clean, which matters more than people admit.

This park is a hidden Gem with lots of amenities Features Baseball / Softball, Basketball courts, Pavilion with Barbecue, Playground, Pool, Restrooms The pool at Roby George Park (201 SW 11th Avenue, Homestead, FL 33030) is free to use for Homestead residents. Those who live outside of City limits will be charged $2.

It was a really nice pool and big bathrooms, two lifeguards. The area around the pool was pretty overgrown with weeds but it's 95 degrees out here, we weren't there to have a picnic. My only issue is that the sign outside the door says 4-9 and the website says 4-9. We got there at 4. More people trickled in, people trickled out, but by 530 me and mine were the only ones there. At 6 the lifeguards came to tell me that they were closing up. Maybe they had a quota requirement, but it was still very disappointing to have to leave after only 2 hours.

Nice park, they just turn the lights out on the basketball courts wayyy too early. Defeats the purpose off having them

Clean Quiet Spot. Pool was Open and Play area for kids well maintained.
