About

Redland Golf & Country Club is a full 18-hole course sitting in the heart of Homestead, a few miles from the main entrance to Everglades National Park. It's a solid spot for a morning round before you head into the park, or a relaxed day on the fairways if you need a break from the backcountry.

The course has a classic South Florida feel: open fairways, firm old-Florida ground that gives you surprising roll, and not a lot of water in the way. It plays well for all skill levels, and the layout is forgiving enough that you won't spend the whole round fishing balls out of hazards. The driving range and putting green are both on-site, so you can warm up properly before you tee off.

Staff here gets consistent praise. The starter keeps things moving, the bag drop is right out front (easy to miss on your first visit, so look to the front left of the building), and the overall vibe is genuinely welcoming. Parking is easy, facilities are clean, and the grounds are well-maintained.

After your round, the bar and food are right there waiting. Carts are in good shape, servers are attentive, and the pricing is fair for what you get. The club also hosts tournaments and events, so it's worth checking the schedule if you're planning around a specific date.

Just leaving now. First time here and it was incredible. Done with eighteen holes in the car at 10:52 am on a Thursday. I met Al in front of the green on eighteen picking up range balls. What a super guy. I'm so glad I came to golf here. Been having a bit of a go of it lately, and these folks made it a lot nicer. Hit one O.B. earlier and talked briefly with a couple of the grounds crew. Just makes it a real nice place to come.

Nice venue for all levels of golfers. Clean facilities, friendly staff, adequate parking and grounds kept in pristine conditions. Here for the Kiwanis Club of Kendall South Dade Annual Golf Tournament.

There is a bag drop off in the front left of the building that is easy to not see. The staff has always been friendly and the starter keeps golfers on schedule. They do have a driving range and a putting ground. The fairways grounds are old Florida hard grounds and you will get some amazing roll. One of the challenges of this course is landing the greens. They are small and hard and your ball will roll off easy and unfortunately are not always in the best shape to properly read a break. They don’t have a ranger that drives the course to keep the flow of golfers so like any other course this could be a problem. The cart girl was always friendly and available. I think this course is great for all levels of golfers. The tee boxes are not the best but the greens were good and the fairways are ok for a public course. There are a lot of big trees and landing near them can be a problem with there roots and chipping onto the green is difficult with the different types of grass that can grab your club if you struggle with chipping. One very important thing to know is that this course does not offer rain checks. The restaurant looks beat up but has good service and great food; I was not disappointed. I will definitely return. I did one tournament here and it was well organized and a lot of fun with many friendly golfers.

Fair prices, course is in good condition. Greens were hit or miss but for the most part good enough. Not a lot of water and open fairways made it a decent day of play. Staff was friendly. A bit busy, a bit of waiting on the tee boxes but that's expected these days. Would be back for sure.
