Fruit & Spice Park
A 37-acre botanical garden where you can wander among 500+ varieties of fruit, spices, and herbs — and eat what falls.

A paved regional bike/walk path through Homestead, part of a planned 42-mile loop eventually linking Everglades and Biscayne National Parks.
The South Dade Greenway is a paved, multi-use path running through Homestead, part of the larger Biscayne-Everglades Greenway project — an eventual 42-mile paved loop envisioned to connect Everglades National Park to Biscayne National Park. A roughly 3.2-mile completed section runs from East Mowry Drive to SW 137th Avenue along the C-103 canal, with more of the full route still being built out in phases.
This isn't a trail inside Everglades National Park itself — it's a regional path through the gateway town of Homestead, useful for cyclists and walkers staying in the area who want a paved, car-free route rather than a backcountry hike. There's no dedicated trailhead; parking is available at Harris Field Park.
