Heritage Market and Restaurant is part farm market, part neighborhood hangout, part family destination. It's the kind of place where you show up for lunch and end up staying three hours. Burgers, tacos, shakes, arroz con mariscos, pastel de nata — the menu covers serious ground, and regulars say everything tastes fresh because it is.

The pork belly tacos are the move. The arroz con mariscos gets mentioned by name in reviews, and the desserts are worth saving room for. Chef Mark has done special event dinners here too, so don't be surprised if the menu goes deeper than you'd expect from a casual market spot.

Beyond the food, there's a lot going on. Live music, cornhole, ping pong, a playground for the kids, harvest-themed photo setups, and occasional vendor markets. Beer and wine too. (Free parking and no entrance fee, which you'll appreciate once you see how much is happening.)

This is a great stop when you're heading into or out of Everglades National Park, about 10 minutes from the main entrance. It works for a quick lunch or a long lazy afternoon depending on what you're after.

The little free library inside is a nice touch. It's that kind of place — someone clearly put thought into making it more than just a restaurant. Worth the detour, and worth coming back to.

We went to their Valentine's Day dinner, and what a surprise. Chef Mark created a delicious menu. The food and desserts were delicious. We were so full we took our desserts to go. I gave the service 4 out of 5 because while the service was great, there were many tables and only 2 servers, but they were very professional and attentive.

Family friendly place with a lot to do. Playground, restaurant, brews, cornhole, ping pong, live music, vendors (not always), and fun photo ops with harvest backgrounds. Try the pork belly tacos!! Free parking and entrance. Fair prices and great vibes! 🫶 Have gone back a few times since this review, and still quite amazing. Today was quiet, we went about 45 minutes before closing. Great and quick service and the food was super delicious!!

Passed by here and I decided to stop by. What a wonderful hidden gem. I wish I lived closer, unfortunately I live over 45 minutes away, but I will definitely be back. The overall vibe is very cute and Qwaint and it’s a great place to take photos, great food, and just enjoy time with family or partners. The food was amazing like 10 out of 10 and I did not expect it to be as good as it was. The overall prices of all the food and goods they have been very reasonable and surprising for some fresh products. The customer service, and all the staff members there were the sweetest people I have ever met. I wish I could remember all their names to name drop them, but they were honestly such nice people and genuinely love their job and making connections with customers. I love everything about this place and the people who work there. It took one visit for me to feel so deeply about this place and the people that work there. Wonderful impression. It truly is such a great spot so just relax and put your phone away and just enjoy nature and good food and good vibes 100% will be back.
