🌿 I rcame across this park while exploring Homestead, after eating at TUGA Portuguese Cuisine. 🚗 One of the first things I noticed is parking is super easy. The park is basically set up like a rectangle with parking on all four sides, so if you miss a spot on one side, just keep driving around and you’ll find something. 🚶🏾♀️ There are walking paths that loop throughout the park, and along the way you’ll find rest stations with tables, benches, chairs, and even workout stations. It makes it really easy to take breaks, stretch, or just sit and people watch. 👨👩👧👦 I loved the mix of people here ... families, couples, people with dogs, folks of all ages. It is a good sign of a good park. 🍔 There are picnic shelters with grills setups, so you can easily host something here. It’s also very shaded, and cool in the afternoon heat. 🛝 There are multiple playgrounds, including a main one near the splash pad, which is great for kids. 🐕 there are two separate dog parks..one for dogs over 35 lbs and one for smaller dogs. Both dog parks have playgrounds within the fence, which makes it easy for families to stay together in one space with their pets. 🍦 There was also an ice cream truck and a food truck nearby when I visited. I’m not sure if that’s an everyday thing or just here and there, but it was such a nice touch. 🗑️ there are plenty of trash cans throughout the park 🚻 The public restrooms are also a big plus...large, clean, and conveniently located right next to the splash pad
