About

La Piedra Bar and Lounge is a casual neighborhood bar in Homestead, a short drive from the main entrance to Everglades National Park. It's the kind of place where you grab a cold beer and stay a while.

The bar stocks a solid selection of beers and cocktails. Live music and dancing are part of the regular lineup, especially on weekend nights when the place gets going.

It's a good spot for groups looking for a laid-back evening out after a day in the park. Cover charges apply on some nights, so it's worth calling ahead to know what to expect before you show up.

Came here on a Friday night for the first time. They asked for $10 cover. Someone before me didn't pay because was a friend of the security guy. The crawd was some old people seating at the bar and nobody dancing. It was so empty that it was like a Tuesday night. Bars charge cover for some sort of live music or entertainment; there was nothing here. It doesn't make sense to ask cover when it is operating like a restaurant.

Charged $10 at the door without seeing what inside looks like. Inside was dead. No one on the dance floor. Sells only beer and over priced non alcoholic beverages

This place is a place with not only bad fame but the bad is still going on... beginning with people dealing and using drugs on the premises and also they rob people blind... the security guards make the drunkest ones pay for an entrance that doesn’t even cost one penny! The women that are there are supposed to dance with the men and have them buy them a drink and half is for the woman and the other half for the owner.... and that’s not all that’s going on there! you see the women do much more then dance, and this bar is licensed to be open up to a certain time and it stays open well after 5 a.m. as long as the lights outside are turned off.... this review is more real than you all think ... I not only know I lived it....

Worst experience of my life, horrible environment, unbearable music, poor quality and very expensive drink, disrespectful service, with all that I still paid $25 to enter! The place looks like those horror movie bars that when you enter you're afraid you'll never leave !!! It was a waste of time and money! Never NEVER NEVER step foot in that place again!
