About

Krome Brewing Rancho 232 is the kind of place that makes you do a double-take on the drive down. It's a barn restaurant on a working farm, with craft beer on tap, live music on weekends, and actual farm animals out back. The vibe is rustic without being rough around the edges. Think outdoor cabin energy, but with real bathrooms and cold drinks.

The menu leans Colombian, with platters like bandeja paisa and picada that look the part when they come out. There's also coffee, fresh juices, and enough on the menu to keep a whole group happy. Kids can feed the animals for a dollar, and there's an inflatable play area too, so this works well for families who want something more than a standard lunch stop.

Live music plays regularly, and the outdoor seating puts you right in the middle of the farm setting. It's genuinely one of the more interesting spots between Miami and the Keys, and the staff tend to be attentive and relaxed about it.

If you're heading down to Everglades National Park or the Keys, Krome Brewing Rancho 232 is worth building into the drive. It's not a quick gas station stop. It's a place worth an hour or two, especially on a weekend afternoon when the music is going and the farm is buzzing.

Nice place to stop and eat something on the way down to the Keys. When we arrived (around midday), it was empty, but the staff were friendly and the service was fairly fast. The music was a little too loud for our taste but they noticed and lowered the volume without us asking. I'd recommend it.

I have been wanting to come here for years, the overall concept is appealing and right up my alley…Vibes 10/10 for the cute farm animals and fresh juices. The food and the flies, however, were not good, more like a 0/10. We ordered the platter of meat and our ribs were so dry they flaked off the bone and the morcilla and steak did not taste fresh. As soon as the food arrived, we were attacked by flies, at some point they were biting me. It was so bad that I practically threw my credit card at the waitress, paid and ran out. Will not return. Response to the owner: I'm well aware that this is a farm, but it doesn't take away from the fact that the food was overcooked and a waste of my money. Read my review thoroughly. Thanks!

Very cute and authentic place if you’re looking for something fun to do on weekends with kids. Their food is reasonably priced and tasty. They also have a gun play area for kids where they have inflatables and pony rides. Perfect location to spend a weekend afternoon outdoors.

So I was down in Homestead and came upon this place. Beautiful from the outside and super cool inside. Outdoorsy cabin-like feel without the discomforts. I saw plates served like the bandeja paisa and the picada which looked amazing! I ordered 3 carne asada tacos - womp womp. It was ok. I was not impressed.... but I feel that I ordered the wrong dish. The tortillas were good but la carne was dry & something else was lacking. If Im in that area again I'll order the Picada and hope that its as good as it looks and not that if they cant get tacos right is there hope for the bigger dish? Anyhow, service was great and front staff is very easy on the eyes. Good music...Live 1-man band. Clean and sanitary. Beautiful place. Worth another trip.

A restaurant in a barn!! Such a cool concept, the service was great and so was the food! They had live music which was nice and they have a little farm towards the back! They sell food to feed the animals for just a dollar and it was a fun experience! The bathrooms are also in great condition!
