Mayor Roscoe Warren Municipal Park is one of those places that earns repeat visits. It's clean, well-kept, and big enough that you're not on top of other people. Families, dog owners, and anyone who just needs to stretch their legs after a long drive will all find something useful here.
The dog park is a real draw. There's actual space for dogs to run, plus obstacle course features that go beyond the usual fenced lawn. Regulars have been coming back for years, and it shows in how the place is maintained. If you're road-tripping with a pet and need a proper stop before or after the park, this is the right call.
For everyone else, there are paved exercise paths looping through the grounds, basketball and volleyball courts, and picnic and BBQ areas scattered throughout. The shade from the trees makes the outdoor seating genuinely comfortable, which matters in South Florida.
Homestead sits right at the entrance to Everglades National Park, and this is a solid spot to decompress after a morning on the trails. Pack lunch, let the dog burn off some energy, and take your time. It's that kind of park.

Quiet place and my dog loves running and playing with the other dogs. The park could use more benches to sit especially under the beautiful trees and they take too long to fix the fence if the dog areas. The employees pushed me out unprofessionally because I was walking with my dog on leash. I decided to take pictures inside my truck and they called the cops on me for no reason. The employee's name Dayana.

This park is clean and well maintained! There's alot of fun stuff to do here. There's pathways through the entire park which is great for exercising, a doggie🐕 playground with really cool obstacle courses, A number of l picnic/BBQ facilities are placed throughout the park and i think they can be reserved for special occasions, a variety of sports can also be played like volleyball, soccer⚽, basketball🏀 etc. My favorite part because i have a toddler is the kiddies playground, its a small play area but still its good enough for younger kids.

Love this dog park, always in good shape and enough space for the dogs to run around and exert energy. Which is helpful as we live in an apartment. Been coming here for years and still enjoy it no matter what part of the park I'm at.
