About

Days Inn by Wyndham Florida City sits right at the edge of the action. You're about 10 minutes from the main entrance to Everglades National Park, and the Florida Keys are a straight shot south on US-1. It's a practical base if you're spending your days outside and just need a place to sleep, shower, and recharge.

The hotel keeps things simple: free continental breakfast each morning, free Wi-Fi, and an outdoor pool. Rooms include the basics you need after a long day on the water or the trails. Families appreciate having breakfast handled before heading out for an early park visit.

Florida City itself is a useful stop. You've got grocery stores, gas stations, and a solid stretch of restaurants nearby, including some of the best Floribbean and Latin food in South Dade County. Robert Is Here, the legendary local fruit stand, is just a few minutes away and worth a stop on its own.

If you're planning a multi-day Everglades trip and want to keep costs down, this stretch of Florida City has several budget-friendly options, and Days Inn is one of the more recognizable names in the area. Book ahead during winter and holiday weekends. This corridor fills up fast when snowbirds and park visitors are both in town.

We planned to stay there for an intier week. But after only checking for less then an hour we canceled are stay. Because the first we where in had mold in the bathroom and mold all around the two bed it was nasty. Then we had them move us to a different room because the people in the pool where so load. And still the second room had mold stains all round them. Stayed the night and left the next morning. This place was so disappointing. We couldn't even go the key west where we planned to go snocking. And to top it off after we got are deposit back from them they had the nerve to try and change us two more times after they gave it back to us. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Staff is rude and they won't let you talk to management just the run around.

So, me and my family came from Tennessee and stayed in Orlando for two nights to go to universal. After that, we came to this hotel to go up to south beach for the day. The area looks really photogenic ngl. The room has nice cold air and the pool wasn't too cold, it was pretty nice. I didn't see much filth, it was a pretty nice room. The TV didn't have many channels but that okay. We did see 4 or 5 roaches though... only the first night though, we left the bathroom light on to make sure anyways. The roaches weren't too big but we still don't want them where we sleep... The bathroom wasn't dirty and the shower felt nice. Not much breakfast to choose from but that's also okay. Staff was pretty nice and social. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, just hope you don't get a room with roaches though.

Do not book this hotel if you’re looking for a decent place to stay, especially if you’re traveling with your family. The rooms were dirty, the hallways smelled strongly of marijuana, and the air conditioning did not cool properly. Overall, the hotel is poorly maintained. The microwave was rusty, and it gave off a burnt smell whenever it was turned on. Our stay was very disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel.

Horrible experience. We checked in late night, Wewere first given a room whoshe bath tub was dirty (dirty is an understatement. Looks like it was never cleaned after the previous guest vacated !!!). Called up front desk and they said they would send someone with a new set of keys. Someone came in offering to help. Turn out that person had an ANKLE MONITOR. When we complained to the front desk they denied the possibility outright. They even claimed that they could spot that individual in the CCTV (either they are dnying or the person is too smart to outwit the CCTVs). Either way a dangerous place to stay. Then tney gave us a room on the other side whose sink woudnt drain. So after brushing the sink was full. Just couldnt wait to get out of this place and rent a different hotel . This was through priceline.com. Spend a little more and book a safer place. There is a Super 8 not too far from this place which is much safer and better. Would never stay here ever and would never recommed this place even to people I hate !!!

I’ll start by saying I’ve stayed here previously and it was what I needed clean, comfortable bed and ac worked. This time a totally different experience. Room was ok but the desk and side table had sticky substance probably spilled soda on them obviously not cleaned. Noticed when I was getting ready for bed that the smoke alarm was missing I called the desk they said “it was probably beeping so they just took it down”. Seriously this is a safety violation. Ac was working but tv wouldn’t load channels, bed was still comfortable.
