About

Xtreme Xperience brings exotic supercars to Homestead Miami Speedway and hands you the keys. We're talking Lamborghinis, Ferraris, McLarens, and more, driven by you on an actual race circuit. Not a simulator. Not a passenger ride. You drive.

The setup is straightforward. You pick your car, get a quick briefing, and head out on the track with an instructor riding along. The cars are the real draw here, and they deliver. There's nothing quite like feeling a supercar open up on a proper straightaway with a grandstand in the background.

Homestead Miami Speedway is about 25 minutes south of Miami and sits right at the edge of the Everglades corridor, making it an easy add-on to a South Florida road trip. If you're spending a few days exploring the national park and want something with a little more horsepower in the mix, this fits the bill.

It's a solid experience for car enthusiasts, bucket-list seekers, and anyone who's ever watched a race and wondered what that actually feels like from the driver's seat. Families with older teens tend to have a great time here. Book online in advance, especially on weekends, since time slots fill up fast.

I would rate the experience somewhere between average and good. The car itself was awesome and definitely the highlight. However, the overall experience did not leave me feeling that it was worth a second chance. When I arrived at the car, the instructor told the staff member walking me over to assign someone else to do those laps. I was fine with that, but then he changed his mind and we started the session. Whether he was tired or something else was going on, the instructor was extremely overwhelming with constant instructions. I felt micromanaged through every single curve, which made it difficult to relax and fully enjoy the driving experience. As a suggestion, I think configuring the experience so customers drive the cars on the oval track could allow people to drive faster and enjoy the cars more, while also making the experience less stressful for the instructors.

I agree with Manuel's review. Driving fast cars is fun, but wow I'm not sure if it was just my instructor but he was extremely stressed and scared. He was constantly YELLING in my helmet microphone many different directions. You cannot focus on enjoying the drive because you have to deal with his constant yelling and instructions and stress. Don't worry about being nervous to drive--your instructor will be more nervous than you. I'm not sure why they are so scared. I realize you are trusting a stranger driving, but all safety precautions and briefings are in place, grown adult men driving have no reason to just flip a car. I highly doubt a crash ever occurs. So the experience goes by and you do not get to enjoy it, overall I will not go back because it is not made to be a positive experience.
