About

Flagler Restaurant is a comfortable, no-fuss breakfast and lunch spot on Krome Avenue in Homestead, right in the thick of the gateway corridor to Everglades National Park. The menu reads like a greatest hits of American diner food: eggs benedict, omelets, pancakes, burgers, and French toast. Solid, familiar, satisfying.

The room has that classic diner feel. It's cozy and unhurried, the kind of place where you can linger over coffee without anyone making you feel like you're overstaying your welcome. Guests consistently call out the warm, friendly staff as a highlight. (If you're rolling in with a group, they handle it well.)

The pancakes and omelets get the most love from regulars. The portions are generous and the prices are fair, which matters when you're fueling up for a full day in the park. Dine-in, takeout, and delivery are all available, so it works whether you're sitting down for a proper breakfast or grabbing something on the way to the trailhead.

Homestead doesn't have an overabundance of sit-down breakfast spots, so Flagler fills a real gap. It's a practical, pleasant stop before you head into the Glades, or a good reason to come back hungry after.

Outstanding food! The pancakes and omelets were absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and lovely, but service was quite slow, like a turtle. Took a while to get food. Still… great food and will be going back tomorrow!

We recently visited Flagler Restaurant in Homestead for breakfast as a group of four. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine friendliness. The atmosphere exudes classic American diner charm, reminiscent of the good old days, with its nostalgic decor and cozy seating. Our breakfast choices were spot-on: the pancakes were fluffy and delicious, the full house omelet packed with ham, cheese, and a medley of fresh vegetables was satisfying, and the eggs Benedict topped with creamy hollandaise sauce were simply delightful. 🍳🥞 While the service was friendly, we did notice a slight delay in receiving our meals. However, the quality and taste of the food made it worth the wait.

Will not return. Bad service, mediocre food that barely had any taste, and atmosphere was barely mid. Decided to dine here because it claimed 4.4 stars at the moment but barely deserves 2. The only thing was tasteful was my kids pancake and French toast. New restaurant at this location but they kept the old IHOP seating design.

American breakfast/lunch cuisine. Server was super friendly and attentive. Very cozy and quaint place. No frills. It was not very busy and it seemed the food took a little longer than we expected. The only critique is the overall ambience. It was taken over from an IHOP so it would be nice to see some more personality on the walls.

My first time here, No complaints; Food & Service was great. Got there at 2pm and was never rushed. I will definitely be back.
