About

Garden Inn Homestead is a straightforward motel-style property that gets the basics right: clean rooms, comfortable beds, a outdoor pool, and a complimentary breakfast included in the rate. It's the kind of place that works well when you're spending most of your time outside exploring rather than hanging around the room.

The location is solid. You're close to restaurants and shops in Homestead, and Everglades National Park's main entrance is a short drive south on SR-9336. If you're planning early morning wildlife drives or a full day on the Anhinga Trail, having a simple, affordable place to crash nearby makes a real difference.

Guests consistently mention the quick, friendly check-in and the peaceful atmosphere on the property. (One reviewer specifically called out a front desk staffer named Paola for being especially kind and helpful, which says something about the people running the place.) The breakfast gets good marks too, especially the fresh waffles.

The pool and patio area give families a place to decompress after a long day in the heat. Parking is easy, the property is quiet, and the price point is genuinely budget-friendly for the area. If you're here to spend your days in the Everglades and just need a comfortable, affordable place to sleep, Garden Inn Homestead fits that bill.

Easy check in and out. Comfy bed, nice shower. Window covering leaves a bit to be desired. Nice pool, we didn't use pool as only one night and arrived after midnight. Good value with breakfast, for price paid.

The hotel was clean and well located, close to restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and check-in was quick. The room was comfortable, but the AC was a bit noisy at night. Overall, a good value for the price and I would stay again.

I stayed at the Garden Inn recently and had mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, check-in was quick and the front desk staff greeted me warmly and efficiently. Housekeeping did come through and cleaned the room during my stay, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the good. It was quite cold outside, but there was no working heat in the room—the heater either didn't function at all or barely put out any warmth, making the stay uncomfortable. The room also had a noticeable mold smell that lingered the entire time, which raised concerns about cleanliness and air quality. The bedding was another letdown: instead of proper pillows, there were only small cushions on the bed, which weren't supportive or comfortable for sleeping. The continental breakfast was available, but they wouldn't let you take it back to your room, which was inconvenient. Parking was very limited near my unit—barely any spots available when I arrived. The hotel is quite secluded, with only one way in and out, and I didn't notice any security guards around, which made it feel a bit isolated and less secure than I'd prefer. Overall, while the staff were friendly at check-in and the place got cleaned, the lack of heat, mold odor, poor bedding, and parking/security concerns made this a disappointing stay. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're in a pinch and can overlook these issues.

The property is very peaceful all you hear are birds chirping and peace. The rooms are clean, cozy and restful. Breakfast waffles fresh made by you delicious. Very very restful stay.

I mean, you get what you paid for… but I did not expect it to be this bad. 😭😭 lowk worst Inn I have ever stayed in. The room smells like pure MOLD. We stayed here for 3 nights and on the first day i had to go buy a air freshener because of how bad it smelled and you couldn’t open the windows because they are glued shut. There is a lot of people staying here so I felt kinda safe. The breakfast was kinda mid tbh and the towels, floor, and shower were dirty, they didn’t even smell like if they washed them, so there is basically no cleaning. Anyways I survived! and I will not be staying here again ✌️
