This is the third time I've been here, with different groups of people. The first time, I went with my wife. We left after one drink bc another patron kept making snide remarks about gay people. The second time, everything was fine and we had a nice time. Last night, my wife went in by herself. There was a gay black man there (I don't care what color anyone is. The bartender knows him so I thought this could narrow it down) who kept talking about trans people and people who cross dress, that they are disgusting and he "doesn't agree with that." The comments were clearly directed at my wife, as she has short hair and looks like a stereotypical lesbian. If all people aren't welcome here, maybe you should put a sign out front. We won't be back.

Stopped in yesterday around 3PM and the first time in over 10 years and my favorite part is it hasn’t changed a bit. Coco the bartender was great .. My Mom Beverly worked and Managed there from the mid 80’s to 2001 and Sam’s will always have a special place in my heart… Hoping to go back Thursday and stay longer this time.

So glad we made a stop at this local gem! While you can tell there are a lot of locals, you are going to feel like family. Great drinks and great people! The GM, Rabbit, is the sweetest!
