About

Last Chance Bar & Package is exactly what it sounds like: a proper dive bar where the drinks are cold, the prices are fair, and nobody's pretending otherwise. Pool tables, a jukebox, and a bartender who'll keep your glass full. It's the kind of place that's been around because people keep coming back.

The food is a genuine surprise. Chris in the kitchen apparently makes things from scratch, and regulars talk about the burgers and fried lobster like they mean it. For a bar that doesn't advertise itself as a restaurant, the kitchen earns its keep.

The crowd is a mix of locals and visitors rolling in after a day at Everglades National Park, which is about 20 minutes south. That combination makes for good energy. Military guys singing along to the jukebox, travelers swapping Everglades stories, the owner handing out trip recommendations. You'll leave knowing where to eat tomorrow.

Live music shows up regularly, and when it does, the place gets loud in the best way. New Year's Eve here sounds like a genuinely good call. If you're staying in Homestead and want somewhere to land after a long day on the trails or the water, Last Chance delivers exactly what it promises.

Robin was happy to help us with everything. We had a great time with the locals and had fun listening to the military guts singing. Id come back here in a minute! So fun!!! The jukebox was open and we played song after song as we drank and danced!!!

Staying in Homestead as I was visiting the Everglades. Great little bar with plenty of seating. Bartenders were attentive and my drinks were always full. Live music as well. Nice spot to relax and catch a drink if your staying in the area.

Fantastic dive bar!!! The girls behind the bar are awesome!!! Chris in the kitchen... WOW!! Fun people, great service, food was absolutely delicious! Seems like Chris makes all this delicious food from scratch... incredible! Highly recommend stopping in here for your first stop before the keys.

We chose to spend New Year's Eve close to where we were camped and chatGPT had recommended this little dive bar. Everyone in this bar was super friendly happy to be there and we felt completely safe and welcomed. As it is a dive bar, the drinks are very reasonably priced but there is nothing top shelf. The signage and decor on the walls are entertaining as much as the people. Overall this was a much better experience than having to dress up and drive into the City and then figure out how we're getting home. If you care more about feeling welcome and having a great time chatting with new friends than looking pretty and being ignored, this is the place to be.

Th owner is so nice, good variety of beverages to choose from ! The owner gave us great recommendations for our trip. Definitely bought a koozie to take home! Didn’t feel uncomfortable at all to walk into as an outsider ! If anything immediately walking in we felt like family !
