About

Everglades Adventures Hotel Suites sits in Everglades City, the small fishing village on the Gulf Coast side of the park. It's the quieter, less-visited entrance to the Everglades, and that's exactly the point. You're here for paddling, fishing, or just slowing way down.

The suites are genuinely spacious and modern, with comfortable beds and solid air conditioning (non-negotiable in South Florida). Several rooms include kitchens, which makes a real difference if you're traveling with family or planning more than a one-night stop. The pool is a nice bonus after a long day on the water.

Check-in and check-out are easy. The front desk staff gets good marks for being friendly and actually helpful, the kind of people who know the area and can point you toward the right outfitter or the best spot for stone crab. There's no breakfast on-site, but a nearby diner and a petrol station cover the basics, and Everglades City has a handful of solid seafood spots for dinner.

This is a practical, comfortable base for backcountry trips into Everglades National Park. Families especially appreciate the room configurations. If you're staging a canoe camping trip into the Ten Thousand Islands or just want a clean, quiet place to sleep before a full day in the park, this gets the job done without any fuss.

The Good - Room feels large and modern - Beds were nice and comfortable The Bad - Water never got hotter than lukewarm - Room was half hazardly built. There was a chunk of baseboard in the bathroom missing, completely exposing the wall by the shower. Be aware that breakfast is not offered at this location. You have few options in such a small town.

Clean, modern and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful front desk service. Excellent pool facilities. Lovely area to stay, delicious seafood restaurant for dinner nearby as well as a petrol station.

Room was clean and quite, relatively modern. We stayed one night prior to setting off on a canoe camping trip in Everglades National Park. I was travelling with four children and they made sure that the room had enough bed space for everyone. This part to the hotel, the "Suites," the south wing, appears to be the newest part. We also stayed in the older north wing for one night, the Ivy House Everglades Adventures Hotel. Those rooms are arranged around a very nice outdoor pool.

Thankfully we didn't have the experience of some of the other reviewers and we are pretty picky. Room was in good shape, spacious, and very clean. No breakfast, coffee, etc.

Modern clean rooms, good a/c and shower. Check in was easy, as was checkout. No breakfast but there is a nearby diner and shop.
