Only place I stay when I visit, which is often. Cannot beat the price for the cleanliness. Basic amenities plus a little extra. Can't ask for more. Thanks for your hospitality!

Clean, comfortable rooms at honest prices, right in the heart of Everglades City's Gulf Coast gateway.
Everglades City Motel sits right in the middle of one of Florida's most interesting small towns. You're steps from airboat operators, fishing guides, and the Ten Thousand Islands, with several restaurants close enough to walk to. If you're coming to explore the Gulf Coast side of Everglades National Park, this is a logical place to land.
The rooms have been recently renovated, and it shows. Guests consistently mention the comfortable new beds and surprisingly nice bathrooms. Wi-Fi, parking, and a BBQ area are all included. Nothing overwrought, just clean, well-kept rooms that deliver more than the price suggests.
The staff gets mentioned a lot in reviews, and not in a throwaway way. People come back specifically because of how accommodating the team is. That kind of hospitality is easy to take for granted until you've stayed somewhere that doesn't have it.
One honest heads-up about Everglades City itself: the town quiets down early. Most things close by 9pm. That's not a flaw, it's just the pace of the place. If you want a lively nightlife scene, you're in the wrong town. If you want to wake up early, get out on the water, and come back to a comfortable room at a fair price, this works well.
Families do well here. The location keeps logistics simple, and the motel's straightforward setup means less to figure out after a full day outdoors.

I just had 5 nights staying here and I was impressed. The rooms have apparently been renovated recently and it shows. The staff are top notch, and are very accommodating. I will definitely be back.

Cute little motel close to the Everglades. Looked like there were lots of different air boats and everglades tours available. We just stopped for the night on our way South so didn't get to take advantage. Seemed like a neat little area although everything closes by 9pm.
