About

Nely's Corner sits inside Everglades Fishing Co., which means you might walk in for breakfast and walk out with a fishing rod. It's a small cafe with a big menu: breakfast sandwiches, cooked-to-order donuts, fruit smoothies, shrimp and grits, key lime pie, and Cuban coffee that'll set you straight before a long day on the water.

The menu leans into what Everglades City actually is: a fishing town with deep roots and serious appetite. You'll find classic Southern sides alongside fresh, casual lunch sandwiches. The shrimp and grits at breakfast are worth planning around. The key lime pie has fans who come back for it specifically.

It's a compact spot, so don't expect a sprawling dining room. Outdoor seating is available, and the whole setup has an easy, unhurried pace that fits the town perfectly. Takeout works well if you're heading straight to the boat launch.

Everglades City sits on the Gulf Coast side of Everglades National Park, about 35 miles from Naples. If you're coming through for a paddling trip, a fishing charter, or a day in the Ten Thousand Islands, Nely's Corner makes a solid first stop. Beer and wine are available at lunch, which is never a bad thing after a morning in the backcountry.

Nely’s corner is a hidden gem in Everglades City tucked into the amazing outdoor outfitters EVERGLADES FISHING CO. The menu is a wonderful blend of traditional awesome fishing town foods, home cooked meals, healthy fruit smoothies, old south side dishes, and even cooked to order doughnuts! I plan to return just to try these out - sounds incredible! They also have a variety of coffee drinks - we loved the expresso! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his biscuits and gravy - perfection! We knew we were in for a great breakfast when we saw locals eating here, including a ranger, along with us starry eyed visitors! Nely’s is family run and we were treated like favorite guests! I had a wonderful week in Everglades City kayaking with a great guide and this visit to Nely’s was the cherry on top of a great time! Not to be missed!

Great spot in Everglades City! Its a one stop shop. Food was good and the service was great. It's not a huge spot for eatting but so worth it. Definitely can't wait to go back and try lunch.

We ate here twice in three days we were in the area & thought it was great. Good food, good service & reasonable prices. I only wish you could get shrimp & grits at lunch time. It's fabulous. Oh, and the key lime pie rocks, too.

Whooo baby, that breakfast sandwich and Cuban coffee! Great spot for breakfast, but the lunch sandwiches looked good too. A solid starting off point to enjoy Everglades City.

Breakfast was good, but the doughnuts were not what I had read about and were fried dough coated with cinnamon sugar. Still tasty, but I was disappointed they were not the ricotta doughnuts. The rest of the meal was good and there was plenty of food!
