We stayed here two months ago whilst on a road trip around the Everglades. We had prebooked through booking.com so we're pretty confident everything would be ok. We collected our key card from the hotel up the road, the girl on the reception was very nice and friendly. We then went to our hotel we had booked down the road, a five minute journey. There is ample parking around to the rear of the building. Our room 103 was on this side of the hotel. There is a covered porch for sitting in, then once inside there is a kitchen, livingroom with beds and a bathroom. The room was clean and tidy. Fab place to stay whilst visiting Everglades City.

I stayed at this place with my sister for a few days and while the town was cute this hotel had much to be desired. The shower had very poor water pressure, there was pee on the toilet left over from another guest, the TV remote couldn't control more than turning the TV on and off, and the volume up and down, they didn't leave enough towels, I had to kill a few cockroaches that I found crawling around the room, and the room I stayed in looked nothing like the pictures I saw of the place. Despite all of that there is a nice little grocery store(emphasis on little) right next door alongside a pizza place that is a 1 minute(possibly not even that long) walk away and the room does have appliances that allows you to cook your own meals if you wanted.

There are no window coverings on the bathroom window, so at night, you can see directly into the bathroom/shower area. Definitely concerning. Picture is from outside the screened balcony. Other than that the hotel is nice, you do have to check into this hotel at another hotel, and staff is very nice. Bring your own hair conditioner!

Overall, semi-decent experience in the everglades, other than this hotel. First, we walked in and there was no air conditioning whatsoever. We tried everything but the room would not go below 75 degrees. Then on top of that, the bathroom door wouldn't stay shut! Even when you lock it and have it closed, a light push can open the door like it's not even closed or locked in the first place! Another thing, there are swarms of mosquitoes everywhere around the property, along with hornets. Good scenery, animals, and lake, but overall horrible room and horrible hotel.

The check-in staff were truly lovely, friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. They provided clear instructions for checking in at a nearby location just about a minute up the street, which was not a problem at all. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and we really appreciated the spacious rooms. The screened-in porches were a wonderful bonus and gave us extra space to relax. Having what felt like a full kitchen made our stay even more comfortable and convenient, especially for a family. The location was also perfect for our Everglades tour, making it an ideal home base for exploring the area. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel!
